The Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) provides individuals with the right to request access to records held by TI Corp.
Find information below on how to submit a Freedom of Information (FOI) request and how to determine whether the records you are seeking are already available through public sources. If you cannot locate the information you need in the documentation provided, you may submit an FOI request by email.
Submitting a Freedom of Information Request
TI Corp publishes information on project websites that are freely available to the public (see below). If you cannot find the information you need online, you can make an FOI request ($10 application fee) by sending an email with the following information to FOI@ticorp.ca:
Your contact information – TI Corp will use this information to send an invoice for the $10 Application fee.
First and Last Name, Affiliation; and
- Mailing address, postal code, contact email address to receive invoice; or,
- Company name (GST#, mailing address and postal code, contact email address to receive invoice).
Affiliation (for statistical purposes) – e.g., Business, First Nations, Individual, Law Firm, Political Party, Researcher.
Your request – provide enough detail so that we can identify information being sought. Additional processing fees may apply if the request is very large or broad (e.g., any and all records).

TI Corp Documentation
The Transportation Investment Corporation was established under the Transportation Investment Act. The mandate of TI Corp was changed on April 1, 2019 and records before that date were transferred to the Ministry of Transportation and Transit (MOTT). As a subsidiary of the B.C. Transportation Finance Authority (BCTFA) TI Corp provides enhanced oversight, management and delivery of major capital transportation projects, including the Surrey Langley Skytrain Project, Broadway Subway Project, Pattullo Bridge Replacement Project, Highway 99 Tunnel Program/Fraser River Tunnel Project, and the Kicking Horse Canyon Project – Phase 4 (completed).
